1. The build loop deserves first-class tooling.

Every productivity tool you’ve used was designed around a team coordination problem: how do five people agree on what to ship next? But solo founders, indie hackers, and tiny teams don’t have that problem. We have the opposite: how do we stay coherent across ten ideas, fifteen tabs, and three half-finished features — alone?

The build loop — think → plan → build → launch — is where solo founders live. Tooling should orbit it.

2. AI is the team you don’t have.

The right framing isn’t “AI helps you be more productive.” It’s: AI is the cofounder, the decomposer, the rubber duck, the project manager, the retro facilitator — at once. The tools should treat it as a peer actor with persistent state access, not as a chatbot tacked onto a sidebar.

5. Ship the build, don’t worship the process.

6. Take your data when you go.

Every workspace can be exported as a ZIP of Markdown files with the folder hierarchy intact, and re-imported losslessly into another Taskachu workspace. We don’t lock you in. We earn the renewal by being worth it.
