About Taskachu
Taskachu is an AI-native productivity workspace for solo founders and small teams. It started as a single question: what does a Kanban tool look like when the AI agent is a first-class user, not a bolt-on?
Why we’re building it
Solo founders run a different build loop than teams. You don’t need a standup ritual — you need persistent state your agent can read directly. You don’t need a 12-seat license — you need unlimited boards for one head. You don’t need a meeting calendar — you need a system that turns “I want to ship X” into a structured backlog in seconds.
The big project tools (Jira, Linear, Notion) optimise for the team coordination problem. Taskachu optimises for the solo execution problem: think → plan → build → launch in one continuous loop, with AI woven through every step.
What makes Taskachu different
- Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration — your Claude Code, Claude Desktop, or Cursor agent can list, create, update, and move cards in your workspace exactly the way you can in the UI. Same identity, same permissions, same surface.
- AI is built-in, not added-on — task decomposition, prioritisation, weekly retros, standup generation, agent-export packets. Every AI feature works because the data model was designed for it.
- Workspace-scoped retrieval-augmented memory — Ask Taskachu searches your own cards and uploaded documents before answering. No leakage, no cross-workspace mixing.
- Solo-founder pricing — Free covers a real single-project workflow. Pro at $12/mo unlocks multiple workspaces and higher quotas. No seat math.
Who’s building it
Taskachu is built and run by Andrii Nadosha — a solo founder using Taskachu to build Taskachu. Every feature ships because it unblocked the build of the next one; if it didn’t, it didn’t ship.
Where we’re going
The public roadmap is the most honest answer. The short version: keep tightening the AI loop, ship a docs site with an MCP setup guide, open the workspace to small teams (2-10 people), and stay solo-founder-first even as we grow.
