Refund Policy

Last updated May 18, 2026

This Refund Policy explains when and how we refund payments made to Taskachu. It is a standalone summary of the refund terms also set out in Section 4 of our Terms of Service; the two are kept in sync — if they ever disagree, the Terms of Service control.

1. What this policy covers

This policy applies to subscription fees charged for the Taskachu Pro plan. The Free plan carries no charge and therefore nothing to refund.

2. Default rule

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. When you subscribe to Pro, you authorise the recurring charge in advance for each billing period; we provide the Service for that period in exchange. Cancelling a subscription stops future charges but does not, by default, refund the period already paid for.

3. Discretionary refunds

As an exception to the default rule, we will, in our reasonable discretion, refund a charge that was made within the previous 14 days where any of the following applies:

  • You have not used Pro-only features during that period (for example, you subscribed by accident, or never logged in after the charge).
  • The Service was materially unavailable due to our fault for a significant portion of the period (extended outage, broken core feature) and we could not restore it within a reasonable time.

Refund requests outside these conditions — for example, after long Pro usage and then a change of mind — are reviewed case-by-case but are typically declined.

4. How to request a refund

Email andrii.nadosha@shally.app from the address associated with your Taskachu account. Include:

  • The Stripe receipt number or charge date
  • A brief description of the reason for the request

We aim to respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method via Stripe and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

5. Consumer-protection rights (do not waive)

This Refund Policy does not limit any non-waivable consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence. Specifically:

  • EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, subject to its conditions (including the loss of the right where you have requested performance during the withdrawal period and the service has been fully performed).
  • UK consumers have analogous rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
  • Other jurisdictions may grant similar mandatory rights. Where they do, those rights apply on top of the discretionary refunds described above, never instead of them.

6. Chargebacks

We prefer to resolve refund concerns directly. If you initiate a chargeback through your bank or card issuer without first contacting us, we may suspend your account while the dispute is investigated. Chargebacks that we win typically result in permanent account closure for the disputing customer.
